Head of Biology

We seek a highly motivated and skilled biology leader to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our research and development efforts, contributing to advancing our scientific pipeline towards clinical studies. This position is dynamic, involving active participation in multiple current projects and interaction/collaboration with all team members and external collaborators. Referring to the VP R&D, the Head of Biology will supervise the Assay Biology and the Research Biology Labs. He/she is expected to build a high‑performing biology organization, integrating state-of-the-art technologies to drive discovery, lead optimization, and IND‑enabling packages. We are looking for leaders with industry-level experience, with a proven track record of advancing assets from hit to lead through candidate selection and beyond, partnering closely with chemistry, DMPK, and clinical. The candidate must demonstrate rigorous scientific standards, clear decision‑making, and mentorship that scales teams and culture.
